Those of you who have been following me for awhile know that I am really picky about what I put on my body. I only buy products that are made with all natural ingredients. I don’t wear perfume (can’t stand it), and I only like natural smells derived from plants, like essential oils. I use coconut oil as an all over body moisturizer, and I love to make my own body butters and sugar scrubs. Since our skin is the largest organ in our body, it makes sense to treat it well.
So when I got the opportunity to write an Evonlae Bespoke Cream Review, I jumped at the chance. The reason I wanted to try one of Evonlae’s creams is because they are made with 100% natural ingredients. 95% of their ingredients are food grade made in a kitchen-like environment. Their products are hand crafted, tested through stability and microbial tests, none of the which are tested on animals. Their creams are rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and essential fatty acids.
The owner and formulation scientist for Evonlae is Dr. Ying Lu. She has a Ph.D in chemistry. During her years in research she gained an understanding of how toxins and chemicals can damage the skin. Her daughters have suffered from eczema and other skin problems. That inspired her to create an all natural skin care line.
I have suffered from eczema myself, until I started using all natural skin care and cleaning products about twenty years ago. My fingers used to break out in blisters that itched. The blisters would break open and crack. It was extremely irritating and painful.
When I was in my teens I remember using a popular facial wash that was not only painful on my skin, but made me break out into a rash. Over the years I have tried product after product with many causing more harm than good.
Then I got a job at a health food store, where I was exposed to products that were made with natural ingredients. I learned how products with chemicals were harmful to the skin and the environment (which I also knew from years of using them). As soon as I switched to all natural products, I immediately noticed a difference on my skin. I have only used all natural products ever since.
When I opened the jar of Bespoke Cream, I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t have a scent. I immediately put some on. It was thick and creamy, soaked right into my skin, and left no oily residue. I used it at night, but also found it light enough for day use. You don’t need very much, because a little goes a long way. The thing that I really love about the Bespoke Cream is that it is formulated to your skin type. You just fill out a skin analysis, and they customize the product just for you. I went for an anti-aging and firming formula since I am at the age where I want something that hydrates and tones my skin.
When you fill out the skin analysis, you can request for them to leave out certain ingredients. I requested gluten free ingredients and no bees wax. I have never noticed a reaction to using wheat or gluten on my skin, but I thought it was time to cut it out of my beauty products just in case.
Evonlae sells day lotion, night cream, and a gift set with both. Check out their website at evonlaeskincare.com.
