Pamper yourself with this luxurious Fall inspired Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub!
I haven’t made a sugar scrub recipe in ages, so I thought it was about time. This Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub came about after cleaning out my spice cabinet. I found my pumpkin spice sitting behind some paprika (yes, I alphabetize my spices). Since pumpkin season is upon us, I figured it was time to put my pumpkin spice to good use.
This Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub is one of a few pumpkin spice recipes that I have planned, but this is the only one without actual pumpkin in it. I didn’t really want to slather pumpkin puree on myself in the shower.
My favorite sugar scrubs so far are the ones scented with chocolate or almond, but since it is that time of year for all things pumpkin, I figured I would make an exception. I am so glad that I did! I am in love with the pumpkin pie spice scent. The scent definitely says Fall. Speaking of Fall, I am happy to say that we have been enjoying cooler temps here in Tucson. We have been getting a little bit of rain too. I hope it stays like this for awhile!
Making your own sugar scrub is super easy and a lot cheaper than buying store bought. They can be made with ingredients you already have on hand. It literally took me minutes to throw this together. They make a great hostess gift or gift for the holidays. Who wouldn’t want to pamper themselves with a sugar scrub? Okay, so maybe someone who doesn’t like all that sugar and oil rinsing down their drain, but I think it is worth it!
I love the soft silky smooth feeling of my skin after using a moisturizing and exfoliating sugar scrub. Normally I moisture with coconut oil, so this is just a step above to get silky smooth skin.
