I am doing this Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Review today because I recently received it in my Frosty VoxBox from Influenster, along with a coupon for 55 cents off.
If you don’t know about Influenster, it is a product testing site, where you get boxes of free stuff to try and review. If you have a website, are on Youtube and other social media sites, like Facebook, Twitter , and Pinterest, all the better.
I don’t know if you can tell by the picture, but I tore into this as soon as the box arrived, before even taking a photograph. I love tea and drink it several times a day. I have never had this tea before, so was anxious to try it. I was pleasantly surprised that this tea had the perfect amount of mint. I normally get a stomach ache from green tea, maybe because I am allergic to something in it, I am not sure. This tea did not give me any side effects, maybe because it has peppermint in it, which is a tummy soother. The ingredients include peppermint, decaffeinated green tea, orange peel, natural vanilla and mint flavors, with other natural flavors, cinnamon, milk thistle, blackberry leaves, roasted carob, roasted chicory, and vanilla bean.
The second time I drank this, I let it steep longer so it would be stronger. I noticed a subtle taste of the vanilla and cinnamon in the background. It was quite delicious!
I got another free sample of Celestial Seasonings this week, this time from Whole Foods. Even though it was not from Influenster, I thought I would mention it here. It had 4 bags of their Black Cherry Herbal Tea. I really liked it. It had a fruity taste, like you would expect. It tasted similar to black cherry juice, but not as strong of a flavor.
*I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
