This being the season of get-togethers, I have created some scrumptious small bites with cranberry sauce that will be great appetizers at any party.
Spicy Vegan Cheese and Crackers with Cranberry
These vegan cheese and crackers are sweet and spicy – my favorite combination. Serve pre-made, or put out the ingredients on a vegan cheese board so guests can serve themselves.
Cranberry Stuffed Dates
These vegan stuffed dates are sweet and rich. Vegan cheese gives them a creamy texture, while pecans add some crunch.

Small Bites with Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients
Cranberry Sauce with Orange
- 3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce - I used Trader Joe’s
- 1/2 orange
Spicy Vegan Cheese and Crackers with Cranberry
- 10 seaweed Crackers or your favorite rice cracker
- 5 slices Daiya Jalapeño Havarti Style Block
- 3 tablespoons Cranberry Sauce with Orange
Cranberry Stuffed Dates
- 12 pecans - 6 whole, 6 crushed
- 6 Medjool dates
- about 1/4 of the Cranberry Sauce with Orange recipe
- about 1 1/2 Vegcuisine Soy Bleu wedge
Instructions
- Cranberry Sauce with Orange: Zest and juice the orange and combine with the cranberry sauce.
- Spicy Vegan Cheese and Crackers with Cranberry: Slice Daiya Jalapeño Havarti Style Block into small chunks.
- Layer Cranberry Sauce with Orange, then Daiya Jalapeño Havarti on seaweed crackers.
- Cranberry Stuffed Dates: Crush 6 of the pecans into small chunks.
- Slice each date in half, but not slicing through to the bottom. Take out the pit of each date.
- Spoon approx. 1/4 teaspoon of the Cranberry Sauce with Orange into each date.
- Layer on the crushed pecans (1 crushed pecan per date).
- Top with approx. 1 teaspoon Soy Bleu.
- Finish with 1 pecan on top of each.
