I have combined bananas, almond milk and the secret ingredient - spirulina. Spirulina is an excellent, natural way to color food.
I colored some beer for St. Patrick's Day with it as well. Only a small amount is needed to turn your dessert green.
Vegan Frozen Dessert for St. Patrick's Day
There's no need to use green food coloring when you can use healthy spirulina instead.

Vegan Frozen Dessert for St. Patrick's Day
Ingredients
- 2 frozen bananas
- ½ teaspoon spirulina
- ½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- cacao nibs (optional)
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in a Nutribullet or food processor until smooth. You may need to put mixture in the freezer for a short time after mixing.
- Sprinkle with cacao nibs.
