Ginger Hoisin Tofu

Ingredients: – ¼ cup gluten free hoisin sauce – 1 tablespoon minced ginger – 2 tablespoons low sodium gluten free tamari – 2 tablespoons brown rice vinegar

Ingredients: – 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil – 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional) – 14 ounce extra firm tofu drained and pressed – 1 tablespoon olive oil

Ingredients: – 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil – 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional) – 14 ounce extra firm tofu drained and pressed – 1 tablespoon olive oil

Mix marinade ingredients. Taste the marinade to see if it needs maple syrup. Add it if needed. Slice tofu and add it to the marinade. Marinate for an hour to overnight.

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Place marinated tofu in a pan along with a few spoonfuls of the marinade, and cook until golden brown on each side.
