Maple Cinnamon Steel Cut Oats

Ingredients:   ⅔ cup steel cut oats  2 cups unsweetened almond milk  2 tablespoons maple syrup  ¼ teaspoon cinnamon  Pinch salt Optional:  1 apple chopped  2 tablespoons maple walnuts

Bring almond milk to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and add oats. Cook 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt. Remove from heat. Let sit 2 minutes. Top with chopped apple and maple walnuts.
