Fried Cauliflower Rice with Tofu
This savory vegan Fried Cauliflower Rice with Tofu is healthy and satisfying. It is packed with protein and flavor.
Either chop cauliflower or pulse in food processor until consistency is similar to rice. Set aside.
Press tofu using a tofu press or a towel wrapped around tofu and press with a skillet and heavy object on top of that. Let water drain from tofu at least 15 minutes. Cut tofu into bite sized pieces.
Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a pan on medium high heat. Add tofu and 2 tablespoons of tamari. Cook until browned on both sides.
Add riced cauliflower, peas, carrots, garlic, ginger, hoisin sauce, and the rest of tamari and sesame oil to the tofu. Cook until vegetables are tender.
Add chopped green onion and cook about a minute longer.
