Cut apples into large chunks and dehydrate at 110° for 24-36 hours, depending upon the size of the chunks. If you do not have a dehydrator, you can purchase dehydrated apples with no preservatives at most natural food stores.
Pit dates and mix all ingredients in a food processor until ground.
Form into balls or bars. It may take a bit of working the mixture for awhile, but they will turn into balls. To make handling the mixture easier, you may want to refrigerate it first. You could add more dates, if needed.
