Camping Sangria

Camping Sangria is an easy cocktail to make while camping. It is sweet and refreshing with club soda, orange juice and red wine.

  • 1  (32 oz.) mason jar  recipe will fill jar twice - or bring 2 mason jars
  • 1  750 ml bottle of Merlot or other red wine
  • oranges
  • 1  8 oz.  can club soda
  • ½  cup coconut palm sugar


  • Slice ½ of one orange and put slices in mason jar. Juice the other ½ of the orange and add juice to orange slices.
  • Add ¼ cup sugar. Top with ½ the bottle of wine. Let sit for several hours so that sugar dissolves and flavors marry.
  • Add ½ the can of club soda and ice or frozen grapes to keep cold. Drink, then repeat recipe with the other ½ of ingredients.
