Mix all ingredients in a high speed blender. Blend for 20-30 seconds; over blending gives a slimy texture.
Strain if desired and store in the fridge. Shake before serving.

If you want to use this for creamer, start with less water.I adjust the amount of maple syrup depending on how I use it. I like my oat milk on the sweeter side for coffee and cereal but prefer less sweetener for a smoothie. Start with less and see how you like it.Oat milk will separate when stored in the fridge. Just give it a shake before using it.Don't heat it up with your coffee; instead, add it after. It will become slimy.This recipe will last up to 4-5 days in an airtight container in the fridge.If you don't think you'll use it up in time, you can freeze it in ice cube trays.Frozen oat milk will last several months.
