I am really excited to share with you an app that I have partnered with. It's called abillion, and it's growing rapidly among the vegan community.
The abillion app is a FREE platform where users can find and review vegan dishes at restaurants, as well as cruelty-free products like cosmetics and leather alternatives. They launched in May 2018 and have grown to over 250K reviews in 120 countries.
They've formed partnerships with nonprofit organizations like Mercy for Animals, Vegan Outreach, and over 50 other partners including small farm sanctuaries and large organizations with global influence around the world. When you submit a review on their app, they donate $10 for every 10 reviews.
In 2019 they donated $60,000 and hope to make it $1 million in 2020.
They utilize Poke to share feedback to businesses so the businesses can improve and offer more vegan options.
Features
- explore vegan options at restaurants and food trucks near you, around the country, and around the world
- find vegan food products such as meat, egg, and dairy alternatives
- read articles on vegan travel, nutrition, animal testing, vegan college guides, and more
- search for cruelty-free health and beauty items
- discover new leather alternative brands
- write reviews for your favorite vegan products and vegan dishes to help others find vegan options and to support farm sanctuaries and organizations
I did not find many vegan options near me on the app, which surprised me considering there are many vegan options at the restaurants I have been to. I think as more people download the app and use it there will be more to choose from.
It didn't take me long to figure out where to search for my favorite brands. Overall the app is easy to use, and I cannot think of anything I would recommend improving upon.
I love the concept and think it's a great way to support animals. I also love that they send feedback to businesses so that more vegan options become available in the future.
To get started, download the abillion app (it's free) and enter the code WMOON. That's my username as well as my referral code to get other users on board.
You can follow me under my profile WMOON, just like you would on Instagram or other social media platforms. I've only written a few reviews so far, but I plan on writing many more since it's such an easy way to help animals in farm sanctuaries.
One of the companies I've written reviews about is Angela Roi, a luxury vegan handbag company. I am absolutely obsessed with their handbags!
