What Is Tea Tree Oil Good For?
Tea tree oil is a perfect addition to any natural first aid cabinet. It has been said to treat acne, fungus, candida albicans, lice, ringworm, canker sores, eczema, bug bites and more.
It has antiseptic, antiviral and fungicidal properties. It is a natural treatment for athlete's foot, as well as many other foot issues.
I like the scent of tea tree oil, but some do not. You can find a tester at natural food stores, where you can smell the essential oil first.
What Are Sugar Scrubs Good For?
Sugar scrubs are great for exfoliating the skin. Made with sugar scrub and oil they not only exfoliate, they moisturize dry skin as well.
Can I Use Tea Tree Oil in a Body Scrub?
You could use this Tea Tree Oil Foot Scrub as an all over body scrub, but I prefer to use it on my feet.
Since tea tree oil is a remedy for bug bites, you could use this scrub when you get a mosquito or other itchy bite.
I have found that using a scrub on the bite helps. When I worked at a natural foods store many years ago there was a product for bug bites that had exfoliating properties and it always made the itch go away.
