This Homemade Walnut Milk is made in minutes. You can customize it to your liking.

Start with less sweetener or switch it out for sugar-free sweetener.

Making your own plant-based milk at home is easy. I've made Creamy Oat Milk, Homemade Hemp Milk, and Almond Milk to name a few.

It's nice because you know exactly what you're getting and you can control how much salt and sweetener goes in it.

Add some cacao powder for chocolate walnut milk. You could also add some freeze-dried strawberries like I did with my Strawberry Oat Milk.

You might also like Spiced Almond Milk or Fruity Almond Milk.

    💭 Tips

    • Soaking the nuts first is important because it releases their tannins, helps them blend better, and results in a creamier drink.
    • If you want a really thick consistency, start with less water, like if you want to use it as creamer for coffee.
    • If you are using this in a savory recipe, omit the maple syrup and the vanilla extract.
    • Walnut milk will separate when stored in the refrigerator. Just give it a shake before using it.

    ♨️ Can It Be Heated?

Yes, it can! Walnut milk heats up nicely for things like oatmeal or other recipes.
