    This vegan Homemade Hemp Milk is a healthy alternative to processed plant milk. It's made in seconds!

    I have been eating more whole foods lately and a lot less processed ones. So in place of store-bought almond milk, I have been drinking this Homemade Hemp Milk.

    It's great because I make a small amount and use it up at my leisure. I put it in my morning coffee and use it in place of almond milk in recipes.

    It has a nice nutty flavor and it is minimally sweetened. This hemp milk is made with ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen, so you can make it at a moment's notice.

    This hemp milk is perfect for a keto diet since it is high in protein and fat, and low in carbs.

    • Hemp hearts: Hemp hearts are shelled hemp seeds. They are the soft inner part of the hemp seed.
    • Stevia: Adds sweetness. You could use another sugar-free sweetener. You could also use maple syrup, agave syrup, or date paste.
    • Salt: Enhances flavors.
    • Water

    • Maple syrup, agave syrup, date paste
    • Cacao powder
    • Vanilla extract
    • Freeze-dried strawberries, which was one of the freeze-dried fruits I used in my Strawberry Almond Milk.

    🔪 Instructions

    Ingredients in a Nutribullet before blending.

    Step 1: Pour water, hemp hearts, stevia or maple syrup, and a tiny bit of salt in a Nutribullet or high speed blender.

    Step 2: Blend until smooth and creamy.

    Is there CBD in hemp milk?

    No, Cannabidiol (CBD) is found in the buds and flowers, not the seeds. This hemp milk is made with hemp hearts, which are shelled hemp seeds.

    Do I have to refrigerate hemp milk?

    Yes, this hemp milk needs to be refrigerated. It will last up to 5 days in the fridge.

    Equipment

    • high speed blender

    Ingredients

    • 2 cups water
    • ½ cup hemp hearts
    • 16 drops stevia (or 4 teaspoons maple syrup)
    • Pinch salt

    Instructions

    • Mix all ingredients in a Nutribullet or high speed blender. Shake before using.

    Notes

    This recipe will last up to 5 days in an airtight container in the fridge.
