โค๏ธ Why You'll Love It
- It's sweet, minty, and chocolaty.
- Made in minutes, it is light and refreshing.
- You can make it into a mocktail if you prefer. It's a great substitute for soda.
๐งพ Ingredients
- Rum: I use light rum, which is the classic mojito ingredient. It is also known as white rum or silver rum. You could also use vodka for a vodka mojito.
- Lime juice: I used fresh squeezed lime juice. I don't recommend store-bought lime juice because it has additives.
- Chocolate simple syrup: Adds a sweet chocolaty flavor. It's made with brown sugar and cacao powder. Chocolate simple syrup also tastes great in coffee and Chocolate Bubble Tea.
- Fresh mint leaves: Adds the minty flavor mojitos are known for. I grow mint indoors. It saves me a lot of money since I love mint so much. Spearmint (or sweet mint) is best for mojitos. Peppermint is too strong.
- Club soda: Any sparkling water will work.

๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ณ Recipe FAQs
Light rum is what is traditionally used in mojitos.
Vodka would taste great in this mojito in place of the rum.
