Step 1: Pour ingredients into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Step 2: Simmer until the raspberries break down and the sauce thickens.
Step 3: Place in a jar and let cool before placing in the fridge.

- Keep an eye on the compote while it is cooking. It cooks down fast.
- Taste the compote for sweetness. You may want more sweetener than I've listed.
- You can use fresh or frozen raspberries.

Raspberry Compote
Ingredients
- 3 cups raspberries fresh or frozen
- 3 tablespoons agave syrup or maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
- Lower heat and cook on medium heat until raspberries break down and sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- Place in a jar or other airtight container and let cool before placing in the fridge.
