Come rain or shine, I always start my day with a smoothie. All the breakfast recipes you see on Create Mindfully that aren't smoothies are done either later in the day, or on very rare occasion, in the morning.
The day just doesn't feel right if I don't have my morning smoothie. Normally I add chocolate Vega All-in-One and spinach, but sometimes I make it with just fruit, like this vegan smoothie.
Instructions
Mix a frozen banana, raspberries, strawberries, pomegranate seeds, almond milk and agave syrup in a Nutribullet or high speed blender.
This strawberry and raspberry smoothie is light and refreshing, but will keep you satiated for hours.

Ingredients
- 1 banana fresh or frozen
- ¾ cup strawberries fresh or frozen
- 1 cup raspberries fresh or frozen
- ¼ cup pomegranate seeds (optional)
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 teaspoon agave syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in a blender or NutriBullet.
