This light refreshing Honeydew Daiquiri is made with sweet honeydew melon for a perfect Summer treat! Key lime juice adds even more sweet flavor.
I have been enjoying honeydew melon smoothies every morning for awhile now. I just mix sliced honeydew melon in my Nutribullet, and drink up. It is a good way to start the morning.
Surprisingly, I am not hungry for a few hours. Melons are best eaten alone for digestive purposes, but I tend to break that rule. Like I broke it for my Mexican Fruit Salad, because I love watermelon in a salad with other fruit.
This is mixed in my Nutribullet too. It gets action both morning and night!
If you are having a rich, heavy meal, this light cocktail would be a good accompaniment. I used key limes, because I love their sweetness. If they aren’t available, another variety would work too.
Agave syrup sweetens things up even more, but not much is needed.
What better way to have some honeydew melon than in a Summer cocktail!

You May Need:
- 1 cup honeydew melon
- 1 teaspoon agave syrup
- 1 1/2 oz. light rum
- 2 tablespoons key lime juice (2 key limes)
- Mix all ingredients, then strain through a mesh strainer. Pour over ice or chill before serving.
