Lavender Simple Syrup can be added to drinks, desserts, waffles, and pancakes. It adds a hint of a floral flavor without being overpowering.
It is super easy to make and elevates anything you add it to. It's inexpensive and the ingredients are pretty easy to come by.
It can be made into an Iced Matcha Latte with Lavender, Lavender Chai Tea Latte, Lavender Lemonade, or a Latte with Lavender. Experiment with it in a cocktail or mocktail.

- Lavender flowers: Make sure to get culinary-grade lavender. I found some in the bulk section of my local Sprouts.
- Sugar: I haven't tried this with anything other than white sugar, so I don't know if it would work with brown sugar.

๐ช Instructions
Step 1: In a saucepan, bring water, sugar, and edible lavender flowers to a boil.
Step 2: Reduce to a simmer and cook partially covered for 10-15 minutes.
Step 3: Place a fine mesh strainer over a mason jar or other container, and strain lavender flowers from simple syrup.
Step 4: Store in the refrigerator.

Lavender Simple Syrup
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon food grade lavender flowers
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Bring all ingredients to a boil in a saucepan.
- Reduce to a simmer. Let simmer partially covered for 10-15 minutes. Strain.
