Nothing is more comforting than a mug of hot cocoa on a cold winter day. For this Spiced Hot Cocoa the hot cocoa has spices to add another dimension to this seasonal drink.
Instructions
Bring cacao powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground ginger, cinnamon, allspice, cardamon, salt, and almond milk to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 5 minutes, whisking constantly until the cacao is dissolved.
Storage
After the prepared hot cocoa cools, place it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
