This creamy Vegan White Russian has a sweet rich flavor. It's made with KahlĂșa Midnight, vodka, and coconut milk.
Before going vegan, I loved to drink White Russians, so I decided to create a Vegan White Russian.
What is a White Russian?
A White Russian cocktail is usually made with cream, coffee liqueur, and vodka. Ever since going vegan sixteen years ago, I have been making them with coconut milk or soy creamer.
For this recipe, I used full-fat coconut milk, because it is so rich and creamy. You could also use light coconut milk, vegan creamer, or plant-based milk.
I have used the well-known original KahlĂșa in the past, but I prefer KahlĂșa Midnight. The original is 20% alcohol, and the Midnight is 35%.
The Midnight does not taste as sugary, which is one of the reasons I prefer it. It has a deep rich flavor.
What's The Difference Between a White Russian and a Black Russian?
The White Russian has cream added to it.
