Ingredients
- 15 oz. can garbanzo beans drained and rinsed
- ¼ cup tahini
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ cup sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil
- ¼ cup fresh basil
- Salt
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in a food processor until smooth.

Yes, rinse and drain. You can also save the liquid (aquafaba) and use it in recipes.

Yum! Sun-dried tomato is my favorite hummas, I've never grief to make it though. I don't have a food processor, you're right. That does need to change. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Leslie! You definitely should get a food processor! Homemade hummus is so much better than store bought, and it costs less, so the initial investment for the food processor will pay for itself in the long run. Not to mention all the other recipes you can make in it. I think my food processor is my second most used appliance next to my Nutribullet.
