This sweet rich ice cream is dangerously good. It has warming spices balanced with creamy coconut milk.

The best part is there's no ice cream maker required! It has a wonderfully creamy texture without all the hassle of an ice cream maker.

I have been on a turmeric recipe kick. Anything I can do to increase my health, I'm all in.

Besides this Turmeric Ice Cream, I've made No-Bake Turmeric Energy Balls, Turmeric Banana Smoothie, and Vegan Golden Milk. I've been adding turmeric to a smoothie daily.

Another recipe to try is my Ginger Turmeric Kombucha recipe.

Is Golden Milk the Same as a Turmeric Latte?

Before we talk about this dairy-free Turmeric Ice Cream, is golden milk the same as a turmeric latte? Turmeric latte is also know as golden milk, so this Turmeric Ice Cream could also be called Golden Milk Ice Cream.

What Does a Turmeric Latte Taste Like?

Turmeric latte has the warming spices of turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, and black pepper. For this recipe, you get all the flavors of a turmeric latte in ice cream form.

There's sweetened condensed coconut milk and coconut milk to make this ice cream rich and creamy.

    ❤️ Why You'll Love It

    • It's sweet, rich, and creamy.
    • You don't need an ice cream maker.
    • It takes minutes to make. It's waiting for it to freeze that requires patience!

    🧾 Ingredients

Ingredients on a cutting board with labels.
    • Sweetened condensed coconut milk: Adds a sweet, rich, creamy flavor. You could also use sweetened condensed oat milk or homemade sweetened condensed coconut milk.
    • Coconut milk: Make sure to use full-fat coconut milk. It adds a creamy consistency and rich flavor. The light coconut milk will be too watery for this. Another fun ice cream flavor is my Vegan S'mores Ice Cream.
    • Vanilla extract: Enhances flavors.
    • Ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, cardamom, pepper, and salt: Warming spices that go well with turmeric. Black pepper helps with the curcumin in turmeric to absorb better.

      Hi WIllow,
This sounds really interesting and tasty but I'm wondering if different non-dairy milks could be used instead of coconut? We don't care much for the taste of coconut and have found that even chocolate or mint chip ice creams made with coconut milk still taste like coconut. Thanks

You could try cashew milk. One of the reasons I use coconut milk is its fat content. It helps to create a creamy texture. Since cashews are high in fat as well, that would be a good option. I haven't tried it, but I would start with 1/2 the recipe to see how you like it.

Oh. Em. Gee! I was completely blown out of my socks, Willow! The flavors are warm and rich, despite it being cold ice cream! LOL!

My husband and the kids enjoy making unique and new foods on our Family Friday Night! We had this last week and made it a couple of days later when it ran out! I can assure you, nothing went to waste 😂

My youngest son is VERY picky, and I thought this would be a bit much for him. But to my surprise, he LOVED IT!!! I cannot thank you enough for this lovely recipe! Turmeric Ice Cream is the new family favorite! 😂❤️❤️❤️5 stars
